The Noehren's

This is Brian's and mine 10th Valentines Day together...so he made me his annual handmade card - something that always makes me laugh almost to the point of tears. I LOVE it! Here is just one of his classic pictures out of a whole book recalling each of the last 10 years. As you can see he is a very talented artist - so talented that it is sometimes hard to distinguish his work from the other great artists at our house...Haley and Grant :) I love you Brian!! Thanks for making me a happy gal.

Yesterday was Brian's 34th birthday!!! Woo Hoooooo!! ...and now begins the only 3 weeks of the year that he can tease me about being "older and wiser" than I am :) We went out for a birthday/valentines date and had a great time.

My dad finished his radiation treatments last week for prostate cancer, and is doing well. He is a great example to me of facing adversity gracefully, knowledge, love, and selfless service. I am lucky girl to have such a great dad!

I have officially started training for the Kentucky Derby half marathon on April 24th! I am excited because it is so huge (15-20,000 runners!) but nervous because it is so huge! Plus, even though I am training with my regular running gals, only a few of us are able to actually do the race this time (too many spring preganacies planned, or injuries - get better Nancy!). So - I imagine I'll be running a lot of it alone since Lora runs like lightning! I'll just have to make friends along the way, right? At any rate, I hope I just make it across the finish line somewhere around the 2 hour mark.
