Christmas in Florida

Our cruise got back into Tampa Christmas Eve morning, and Brian's dad picked us up.  We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day together at their house having a great time in the nice warm 80 degree weather. We just love their clubhouse pool.  It is always the right temperature, full of older people just shooting the breeze and lots of relaxing Florida sun.  There is a resistance pool, a lap pool and a hot tub too, which keeps it extra fun.  We had lots of fun spending time at the pool.   Papa built a really cool RC car that they drove around for a while.  He also drove his RC boat on the lake behind their house.  Papa builds fun toys!  Christmas Eve was also the first night of Hanukkah, so Mimi taught the kids about their Jewish heritage by lighting the menorah, making potato latkes and playing some dreidel.    The kids were the peelers, and Brian was the shredder.  Then Brian and his mom fried them up....

Last Day at Sea

The last day at sea was a wonderful, relaxing day.  We roamed the boat from activity to activity.  We dressed up for the formal night and felt all fancy.  It was so fun to see so many people all decked out.  Although there were professional photographers everywhere you went, we opted for our kids to take some pictures of us.        The kids loved dancing down there with everyone in the "if you know it, dance it" dance off.  We danced from the second story.  Here is our tiny hallway and our tiny room, and more cute towels.  Although we loved our room, I will never watch tiny house hunters the same.       On the ship, if you buy their soda drink package, you get this cup and you can refill it as much as you want on their coke soda machines that have all those options.  On the last day we just basically gave the cup to the kids.  I'm pretty sure they are hopped up on sugar and caf...
