Halloween 2016

This Halloween, Haley went as Sia, I threw on a hat, and the boys were blue crayons.  Not the most unified grouping, but oh well.  Here we are at the ward trunk or treat.

Halloween night was perfect weather.  It was super warm.
As much as I tried to convince Brian to not walk the neighborhood in costume, he and Grant insisted.  I tried to not be embarrassed, and decided it was better to have a husband that cares less what others think of him than one that cares too much.  My parents stayed at our house and handed out candy while we walked the neighborhood.
The kids got a huge haul of candy - more than usual because they weather was so nice they stayed out longer.  They rejected about half of the candy and we gave it to the students in Brian's lab and they gobbled it up in less than a week.
Here is Grant, about a week later, sad that his custom made pumpkin was rotten and had to be thrown out.  It is a triangle with a smiley face in it - his symbol for his favorite blanket.
