Grant Turns 8
This sweet boy turned 8 last November! If you are Mormon turning 8 is a big deal. You start cub scouts, get baptized and become an official member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and in Grant's case - it means you get to party!
Since we celebrate the kid's even birthdays with friend parties, Grant chose to have his party at Kid's Place - a big indoor jungle gym place with token games. You know - they type where if you cash in 200 tickets you win a tootsie roll. But the kids love it and Grant was in heaven. He invited a handful of boys from his class and they ran around for 2 hours straight burning off the pizza, soda and cake.
I love that my parents are here in town!
This is crazy Grant under the affects of too much fun!
Here is his new cub scout uniform. This might the the one and only time I've gotten him to wear the shirt, hat and scarf all at once. He's not a fan of the scarf, but he wears his hat to school each month on spirit and hat day. He loves scouts!
I couldn't resist posting a cute sleeping picture of Grant. Such a reverent sleeper. Haha. He sleeps like this all the time and it just makes me smile.
He even made a bed for his creeper and tucked him in. How cute is that.
Happy 8th birthday to you, Grant! We love your energy, happiness, cool dance moves, desire to do right, and your ability to make friends easily. We are lucky to have you in our family!
